2013 - Foundation and Early Steps

The story of Gobox begins in 2013, when two technology and innovation enthusiasts came together with a clear vision: to help companies solve real challenges through digital solutions.

In the beginning, the focus was on custom software development for small and medium-sized businesses in Portugal, with a simple yet customer-dedicated approach.

The first project was Oficinabox, a school management application.

2015 - Skills Consolidation

In the early years, Gobox strengthened its team with talent in web and mobile development, as well as systems engineering.

Its commitment to agile methodologies enabled the delivery of faster, high-quality projects, leading to client recommendations and organic growth of its customer base.

When others said it was impossible, Gobox delivered the solution.

2016 - Launch of Gesbox

Gesbox was designed for companies that want to efficiently automate and organise their daily operations. It is certified by the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT) under certificate number 2541.

Gesauto was developed to enable vehicle inspection centres to automate and integrate their main daily tasks, from vehicle registration to certificate issuance, including the management of staff, equipment, and management reports, all within a single web-based system.

It is a solution designed to be intuitive, secure, and efficient, helping centres increase productivity and service quality.

2019 - Launch of Cábula

Cábula is an online school and educational management software developed by Gobox Lda. It centralises the organisation of students, classes, activities, and communication between teachers, parents, and guardians, making the day-to-day management of tutoring and education centres simpler, more efficient, and more transparent.

2020 - Launch of Gescalibra

Gescalibra is a comprehensive management software designed for Metrological Verification Bodies (OVM) and companies that perform equipment calibration and verification, including laboratories and organisations operating measurement, testing, and compliance systems.

Gescalibra’s goal is to provide a modern, intuitive, and secure platform that simplifies the overall management of verification and calibration operations, from equipment intake to certificate signing, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for OVMs and metrology companies.
